Norman Butt, A.I.A.
Somewhere amongst memory, experience, and imagination exists the muse that shapes our perceptions and charts our course. Grasping the understanding that each decision has consequences, I know that the journey becomes increasingly less about hanging-on and more about taking the wheel.
Architecture presents the roadmap and TAG provides the vehicle. Oh, what a drive it is with the top down, ears flapping, and tongue hanging out.
Some days the road is smooth and fast with imagination and purpose fusing together. Other days, it’s about fixing the wiper blades, buckling the seat belt, and hoping I’ve got enough gas. Whatever the path, whether I’m driving, pushing, or sitting in the backseat, it’s experiencing the metamorphosis of time and place with family, friends, and colleagues that’s exhilarating.
